Rob Wheaton-189 business representative
Posted On: Oct 01, 2012 (22:39:32)

Rob Wheaton began his staff rep position in the union’s Portland office on Aug. 1, 2007. Wheaton came to Council 75 following three years as a field representative for Laborers Local 483 in Portland; AFSCME and the Laborers share some crossover jurisdictions at both the City of Portland and Metro. Born in Arizona, Wheaton graduated high school in Las Vegas and has been in Oregon since 1993. Prior to going for work with the Laborers, he was a union-related consultant for a small firm.

Away from work, Wheaton likes to spend time “on the river” — specifically kayaking, rafting and fishing.

Wheaton lives in SE Portland.
